Beautiful Flamingo at Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park.

We spent last Saturday morning walking the wildlife walk at the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. There is a great habitat that housed many different birds.

The animals at the park are unable to survive in the wild for a variety of different reasons.

The Flamingos were hanging out in a big pond right off the walkway. The sunlight and their beautiful colors made for some amazing reflections.

This park is definitely worth the trip to see. For information on the park visit www.floridastateparks.org

The Flamingo is a type of wading bird which is known for it's beautiful colors and standing on one leg.
